WPA Achieves 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Status

We are excited to announce that Waukesha Preservation Alliance (WPA) has achieved 501(c)(3) non-profit tax exempt status from the IRS. This tax exempt status will be retroactive to our incorporation date in June, 2011.
As a non-profit public charity, our status change provides new benefits to WPA, our members, and those who wish to contribute to WPA. The key benefits include:
- Grants available to non-profits can now be pursued.
- Membership dues are tax deductible.
- Contributions made to WPA by individuals and corporations are tax deductible.
